You can delete your ShelfExact account at any time using the mobile app:
If you cannot access the app, you may request account deletion by emailing contact@medicalboardexam.com from the email address associated with your ShelfExact account. Include the subject line "ShelfExact Account Deletion Request" and we will process your request in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
When you delete your account, we remove your sign-in access and organization memberships. If you are the sole owner of an organization with no other active members, we also delete that organization's inventory data and uploaded photos. If you are a member of a shared organization, we remove your personal account data while preserving the organization's inventory records for other members.
Data that may be deleted includes:
While your account is active, photos are retained until you delete them from the system. After account deletion, we delete remaining personal data promptly, subject to any legal obligations that require us to retain specific records (for example, records required for tax, audit, or compliance purposes). Shared organization inventory may remain for other active members.
If you need to keep any inventory data, photos, or transaction history for your records, export or save that information before deleting your account. Account deletion cannot be undone. Organization owners with other active team members must transfer ownership or remove all members before deleting their account.
Users in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore may have the right to request deletion of personal data (name and email). To exercise this right, use the in-app deletion steps above or contact us at contact@medicalboardexam.com. See Section 8 of our Privacy Policy for more information.
